Mapquest routes

I am looking at taking I40 from Knoxville west to HWY 27 to Chattanooga . I notice on mapquest( the internet site), the route is mostly green but that there is some red and yellow. (around Kingston it shows red)Does anyone know what that means? bad roads, high elevations etc. ???? or should I worry at all?

Thanks, Tom

You really need to be careful with MapQuest directions. Generally ok, but be careful with the details. They've sent us ways before that if we didn't know better, we'd be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Like the wrong side of the railroad tracks with no way to cross over...
