I have read a lot of threads touting Red Max Pro #3 and I sure want to get some. However, I live in Louisville, KY and I checked with all of the Lowes in town an none of them have #3. They have #2 and #4 but no #3. I have tried to get them to order it but they claim they can't because they don't have an item or product number. One clerk, that seemed somewhat knowledgeable, thought that #3 may be discontinued and I can't find it anywhere on the internet. Has anyone else out there heard this. I really don't want to be the ginnie pig on the Zep product available at Home Depot.

I couldn't find it at Lowe's either and bought the $10 more ZEP Wet Look at HD. It works. Just make sure you use thin coats. I put it on wrong on my 20' enclosed ramp door and had to buy the stripper to get it off. Meguiar's Cleaner Wax went on with my orbital buffer. ZEP did work fine on my 35 year old counter tops.

According to Lowes website, it is still available in the one gallon size. The ZEP Wet Look finish is the same product as RMP#3, per the manufacturer.

If ZEP the same as RMP#3, why does ZEP Wet Look cost $10 more at HD than RMP#3 does at Lowe's?

My Local Lowes said they were dropping the product and that is why I couldn't find any 1 gallon bottles, only 5 gallon containers. I noticed this week that they reduced the 5 gallon container from $64.00 to $16.00.

With that much, you could open up a business.

Available in Montana, at our Lowes in gallon size. $3.74 per gallon container.

Do a search for RMP or Red Max Pro #3. Far to complicated to explain everything and there is hours of reading about RMP. Basically, it is a floor wax people put on old faded and oxidized motor homes to make them look better.
