Question Measure for Awning

I was hoping that someone could answer this for me. I want to install an awning covering the TT from end to end (or as close as I can to it).

Do I measure along the gutter? In the picture below, you can see the gutter runs from the back to a quarter of the way above the window.

you need to also look where the lower mounts will attached to. it looks like if you go clear to the back, it would be on the storage door.

Also if you go to the front end of the gutter you will have to have the awning outfor the window to be operational. That trailer is a tough one to install a usable awning on.

I believe that you will need to use an awning similar to the one below, it is a Carefree Campout. I believe the side rails fold into the roller for storage and the only parts that are attached to the trailer are the main roller across the top and the brackets that go on the sides to secure the side rails when the awning is extended. This should allow for the largest awning without the location problems discussed above. It is also less expensive than the normal awnings.

You can go to the Carefree of Colorado website and look at the manuals.

Opening the door could also be a problem. Ther is not much room above the door.

I guess you could install a Girard on the edge of the roof!
