The 'home park' we were required to call home was a beautiful spot, but in such an out of the way part of our travels, it didn't make sense. If we could have chosen another one in our system as 'home', it would have been very tempting. But to be able to stay at a sister park required more $$ - or just pay as any guest would - full price.

Loved the concept, but by the time we'd looked at the whole package, it was nearly $8000 (after the $2000 gift certificate that came from the RV dealer). We are not full-timing, so there was no way it made sense for us. We have Good Sam (or whatever it's called now, Passport America? - or is that something else. The changes this winter are confusing), and KOA.

Seems to me you should have asked this question prior to signing on the dotted line.

I felt that belonging to a membership driven CG would limit us. We are GS members and each season we have saved enough from discounts at the CG's we have decided to stay at.
