I am thinking of adding a memory foam topper.
Any recommendations?

Last RV we had we had an egg crate and then added another as well - helped but not great. When we got the new rig with its King size bed we looked around a lot and went with the Costco and haven't regretted it. We looked at others that were 4x more expensive and thought the Costco ones were better.

Another vote for the COSTCO topper. It comes in a box compressed in vacuum sealed wrap. Doesn't even look like it will work. Took a couple of days to "grow" into it's final shape. I didn't cut it down to fit the length and just let the overhang compress when the slide comes in.

We have memory foam toppers in the house and in the camper. They are great. We have 3" ones. It does make the mattress very thick. For our house bed I have to find extra deep pocket sheets. I ordered all of ours at Overstock.com for a very good price. I don't know what they are charging at Costco to say if O was better or worse pricewise.

I bought my memory foam topper at walmart. I can't imagine sleeping without anymore, I used to use the eggcrate style but the memory foam is
much better. My queen size,I think its about a inch and a half, was only $29. Don't have a membership at costco but I know Linens n Things was much higher.

I also bought one from Costco. Mine fit perfect after it expanded. It made a wonderful difference. Get one, you won't be sorry.

We love our topper from Costco too. Just wanted to mention that the added weight of the topper is too much for the gas shocks to hold up the hinged bed on Winnebago's, so my wife needs help to lift it up and then I hold it while she goes in the storage below. It's a small trade-off for the added comfort!!!

Happy Trails,
Bill

We have had our memory foam topper for over three years. We liked it so much that we bought one for every bed in our house. The mattress in our RV was not the best, but with the topper it feels like the most expensive mattress you could buy.

We got our memory foam topper from Sams about 3 years ago. It is great. It makes the bed feel so much better.

We have the 4 inch, love it in the rv,made the bed in the house so high I couldn't climb up in it,especially after I had my back surgery so took it off and ended up giving that one away.

We have a kingsize mattress (inner spring) in our camper We put an egg crate type topper under the mat and put a nice memory foam topper on the top and then a nice soft quilted mattress cover on over the whole thing then the sheets It is almost as soft as our Simmons pillow top that we have at home Sleeps great
