Mexico Banking for Canadian

Anyone have experience with Bank of Nova Scotia branches in Mexico. I am told you can transfer money through Global Banking from your bank of Nova Scotia Canadian account down to your account at a branch in Mexico converting it into Pesos.
Any help would be appreciated.

I spend time in a small town in Jalisco where many Canadians from British Columbia spend their winters and all seem to bank there.
There is a Mexican website, Tomzap.com where a better answer may be had.
