I've been trying to locate the tire shine on line and locally with no good results. I finally called Michelin today and was told it's out of prouction at this time with no idea when production would start again.

I'm wondering now if there was a problem with the product

John,
The 3 in 1 Tire Shine can be purchased through the X-1R Corporation in Daytona Beach. Their number is 800-747-4917. I bought two bottles last July for $7.99 each. Stuff works great.

I was also interested in this product, so when you posted the web site ,I called them . They said that so few people ordered it that it became unprofitable so they discontinued it.

I read a another post here a few days ago that someone had dealt with Debbi and ordered 2 bottles so I took a shot and emailed them to see if in fact they do still have some. I got a phone call from Debbi within a matter of minutes and yes in fact they still have some so I ordered my 2 bottles as well.

It's listed as out of stock because it's no longer being produced but they still have a very limited supply on hand.

I couldn't find it either but I did buy Armerall tire treatment and it's almost the same thing. It protects the tires from dry rot and UV. It's not the same as regular Armerall and does a good job on the tires.

The only product I'll use on my tires is "303" Aerospace Protectant. Unfortunately it's very expensive.

my post is missing?????
Someone here doesn't understand sarcastic jokes about Michelin tires that crack after a short time.
And Michelin will not warranty cracking of their sidewalls.
The above is a fact.

From Michelin Tire Warranty PDF
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Tires/casings which become unserviceable due to:
– Road hazard injury (e.g., a cut, snag, bruise, impact damage or (puncture)
– Incorrect mounting of the tire, tire/wheel imbalance, improper retread or improper repair;
– Misapplication, improper maintenance, racing, underinflation, overinflation or other abuse resulting in casing damage or fatigue;
– Accident, fire, chemical corrosion, contamination, tire alteration or vandalism;
– Flat spotting caused by improper storage;
– The addition of liquid, solid or gaseous materials other than air, nitrogen or carbon dioxide;
– Uses other than long haul service for any extended warranty casing claims;
– Uneven or rapid wear caused by mechanical irregularity in the vehicle such as wheel misalignment, resulting in damage to the under-tread, carcass or steel belts;
Ozone or weather checking.

Bill,
Check what it contains, if it has some form of petroleum base don't use it.
