Michelin tires in Oregon

We will be replacing our Goodyear G670 with Michelin XZA2 while in Oregon. I need a recommendation for a good dealer to contact.

I had occasion to be helped by the people and Camping World Portland/Wilsonville. They were fantastically helpful. If I every travel that way again I will certainly stop by with a box of donuts. Therefore, I recommend them.
I don't know if they have the best price, but I bet they will give excellent service, and be fair in their actions.
Happy Trails.

Are you looking for a dealer that honors the FMCA Michelin tire program? IF so I was in Henderson's in Grants Pass a few weeks ago and they told me they accept the FMCA deals.

What part of Oregon are you in? On one of our trips, we stopped in a turck stop in Medford to check on tires prices as we were looking to replace the Goodyears that were on our old MH. They had the best price of the places we had checked.

X2 on Les Schwab
If in the big City Costco can get the tires but you must find someone to mount them.

I don't think Les Shwab sells Michelin tires.

Les Schwab in Salem sells Michelin's. I got a quote on Michelin's and Toyo's from them and went with the Toyo's. The Toyo's were about $1300 cheaper. Les Schwab's service has been incredible so far.

I got mine at:
Superior Tire Service
33960 Old Willamette Hwy
Eugene,OR
541-744-2000

Excellent service.

I tried Schwab but was told they do not participate in the FMCA program.

Michelin

We had a very bad experience with Michelin years ago and as result would not put them on my grandchildren's baby buggy.

I have followed the stories of Michelin problems but I still see the large expensive motorhomes have them as OEM equipment. Saw a new Tour today and it was shod with XZA3. I have decided to give them a go as they are reported to have a smooth ride quality and that is my requirement. I have seen that other tires are less expensive and are probably as good or better, I guess my experience over the years leads me to believe Michelin is a quality product. Alaska in 2014 so they will be tested.

FMCA deals? I hope we can get that price or better without FMCA. Seems like the Internet has leveled all pricing structures. I will start shopping this week by phone and will be in Oregon next week.

Superior also has one in Portland, which is where I got mine, but it was before FMCA had their program. Still cheaper than other places.
And yes, Costco sells Michelin RV tires, but they can't mount or balance them.

And, OTH, in all my years of driving I've had very few problems with Michelins (two flats on the Odyssey from screws at a show) and the only tire I've ever had a blow out on was a GoodYear on the Jeep. So, I will never have GoodYears.
