I run a 30 pint Danby dehumidifier 24/7. It has a drain attachment or drain into a tank. When at home I put it on the kitchen counter and the drain hose into the sink and crack the grey water valve and water the lawn. For camping I drilled a 5/16" hole through the floor between the drivers seat and the wall and ran a 1/4" copper tube through the floor. When at a campsite I connect the Danby to this drain. The water drains out into the left front wheel well. Humidity in the coach stays 45 %. The Danby has been running 24/7 for 3 years.

It isn't necessary for water to run down the walls. Water can get between the layers of the wall lamination (part of the core is typically Luan mahogany), or if the intrusion is from below (wheel wells, basement storage, leaking water pump or plumbing) you'll never see standing or dripping water in the coach but the mold is happily growing.

While high humidity can certainly enable mold growth and if your RV is stored or operated in such areas, much of mold in RVs is from tiny (or not so tiny) roof and window leaks (and slide walls, too) that allow water to penetrate the INSIDE of the walls.

Check for delamination on the coach walls. If you have access to a thermal imaging camera, look for heat in places the temps should be similar. Hot spots in walls, floors or ceilings can indicate a mold colony (or electrical problems or other issues that cause heat).

For after-the-fact mold/mildew remediation, read up on Concrobium mold control.
It is easy to find a store with it in-stock. Home Depot is perhaps the most common store.
