Missing RV and Owner

I do not know whether it is appropriate to post this sort of thing here. Forgive me if it is not OK.

A friend from my dog breed and dog sports just posted this story on FB.

A Vista MH, license plate HH40701 PA is missing somewhere between Burtonsville, MD and was supposed to be in Kalamazoo, MI by night time on 12/3.

A trucker's alert has been issued. She transports dogs for people and so I guess she is more commercial than recreational. Many people who show their dogs in various dog sports hold her in high regard and are worried about her.

She left her daughter's home in Glenside, PA on Wed. and her daughter said that she was not feeling well. She had flu like symptoms.
She was supposed to be taking 1370, 1270, 170 to the PA turnpike and then I 80 to 169.

Her voice mail is full. She has missed the initial drop off of a dog and also missed multiple pick ups and not been heard from at all.

If anyone knows anything or can suggest something please send it to helpvanessa@gmail.com.

I will let you all know when anything is known about what happened.
Just let me know if this is not appropriate for this group and my apologies if it is not,

M2D

A missing person's report has been filed.
Her phone records show a call being made around 10 AM on 12/3 near Laurel, MD. She left Burtonsville, MD between 4-5 AM on 12/3.

Thanks,
M2D

My wife shows dogs and has many friends & contacts in that world. I sent an email to her and some of her friends. By the end of the day I'm sure this message will get to hundreds of people.

Thank you for the help. I have just found out that she had an accident with her MH. She went off of the road or something.

Somehow she ended up at a pet friendly motel nearby. Supposedly police helped her but she did not seek medical help for whatever reason and was found dead this morning in her motel room. The dog that was with her is safe.

So sad,

Supposedly the police came to find her stumbling around and disoriented. An ambulance came as well but she did not take advantage of it.
It was a single vehicle accident.

Many kind people helped to track down pings from her cell phone and searched the area of the accident. There are many good people in the world ready to help and the internet is a wonderful tool.

I guess that it is a warning to all of us to take nothing for granted and to always be checked out by medical personnel even if we think that we are OK especially if we are traveling alone.

Local animal control took care of the dog after she was found to be deceased.
The dog's owner is reclaiming the dog. I hope that she did not refuse help because she did not know what to do with the dog.

She was a lure coursing judge which is a sport for scent hounds and she raised and showed Borzoi.

As a precaution to enable my sone to locate me anywhere, i authorized my son access and can track my location by my smart phone, IPad and laptop.
Also, LEOs can use your cell and PC to track your location in and emergency and if you're wanted.
An additional way to help locate your RV among other RVs and vehicles parked or moving is to paint numbers and letters on the roof and/or AC covers --- like police and other emergency vehicles so the can be identified from the air and mountain tops.

I intend to paint the last four digits of my social security number on the roof of our motor home.

Cell phones can have the letters ICE next to your contacts that you want called
" In Case of Emergency" Just store those letters after family members and LEO will know who to contact.
