Mobil 1 on sale

For those with a Costco card the have Mobil 1 on sale from September thru October 23. It is $10 off a case of 6 quarts which usually make it right at $4.50 per quart.

I've found Walmart to be much, much cheaper on motor oil than the national auto parts chain stores.

Do yourself a favor and go with Mobil 1 Extended Performance--if it comes in your oil weight. It's a far superior product than regular Mobil 1.

In my automobiles, I run Walmart's house brand full synthetic oil. It's about the same price as brand name oils, and is made by Mobil/Exxon.

For my diesel truck, I run Motorcraft dino oil--available in 5 quart jugs. If I bought 4 quart jugs, I'd be wasting one quart every oil change.

I find that the quarts of Mobil 1 are $6.99 to $7.99 even at Walmart. I do buy the 5 quart jug at Walmart for the autos but I always buy the quarts at Sams or Costco when it goes on sale for the motor home.
