Mobil 1 on sale at Costco

Costco has Mobil 1 on sale Jan 28th thru Feb 21st. It is $10 off a case of 6 quarts. It usually comes out to about $4.50 a quart. For us with gassers the quarts are easier to use than the 5 quart jugs.

We have seen a dramatic drop in the price of a barrel of oil, diesel and gas and yet we are not seeing a drop of petroleum distillate products. We are being gouged. Engine oil, waxes, cleaners etc.

Yup, gas is down to $1.40 and the price of a 55 gal drum of crude is down to around the mid $20's but the oil on the shelve hasn't changed any.

The quart bottles on sale at Costco make the oil cheaper than your 5 quart jug at Walmart. You get 6 quarts for $26.00 instead of five.

I use the quarts too.

As dabrooks said it's difficult to add oil in my gasser and a 5 quart container is near impossible to use on mine.

Transmission fluid is the same problem when replacing. Have to use quarts.

Get a pump, then you can buy it in a 5 gal bucket if you desire.

If you get this funnel the screw on part comes off the funnel and screws on the Mobil 1 quart bottles. I also remove the clear tube. You can turn it upside down and then twist it to open after you have it in the oil fill tube. I never spill a drop.
The only thing I need to pick up is one of those drain plugs that you attach a hose to.
