[Mod Edit] Winegard

I had the Wineguard MF-4000 book marked on Amazon for 2 weeks ready to buy. And thought I would wait a few more days till Black Friday.

Today Amazon just upped the price in my cart for the Winegard by $320.00!

Outrageous!

Anyone have any other ideas for wifi extenders that can do 4g Ltd also?

I am pissed

It sounds like the behavior that stores are often accused of, boosting prices before a big sale, aka Black Friday. Then cutting them for that sale.

You might look at the TOGO Roadtrek at $400. It has 5 antennas 3 4G/3G and two WIFI. And you can add the $360/yr AT&T unlimited package but I understand it does WIFI without that. The antenna is a Winegard. I don't know if it fills your specifications.

I dont know why you are so upset. You, in effect, made a bet that the price would go down, instead it went up. You lost the bet. Maybe it will go down more than it went up for Black Friday.

I agree that the OP was taking a chance when he waited. I've sometimes gone back later to look at items myself and found that they had either gone down in price, gone up in price, or vanished completely. Comes with the territory. The thing that surprises me here is the amount the item went up.

On the Winegard MF-4000, I didn't find any information on that model. Is it maybe the WF-4000?

Consider it a blessing.

The wf 4000 is a WiFi booster that you can add to your cell plan and it does double duty as a 4g hotspot. Problem is it is not the best WiFi booster and it is not the best hotspot. You are waaaay better off getting a quality WiFi booster and a decent hotspot from your cell provider.

Also just wanted to clarify this is not a 4g lte booster. Just a WiFi booster with a separate cellular hotspot built in.

I just viewed a vehicle commercial on TV that stated it was a Black Friday sale all month long!

Had it wrong. Black Friday is not till the 29th

But today in my cart, my rear trak bar just dropped $300.00. Wow. Ordered it on the spot.

Thru a front trak bar and steering stabilizer in the cart too. Who knows.

Anyone have the wineguard WF2-435. Itís new and much cheaper. Has the same specs.

In this instance, what normally occurs is the item is offered by a marketplace seller (Amazon is a middle man), the seller sales out of that product, the next lowest price seller is now where your saved item points to, causing you to "think" the price went up when actually you are shopping at a different store.
