And for the record, i was saving the photos to go back and refer to later, and the 3 rd photo was NOT upside down when i opened it in a new tab.... Thanks again for the tile job info.....

Bondera is another tile setting mat. I've seen better reviews for it than for Simple Mat. I saw Tommy Silva on Ask This Old Mansion...er...Ask This Old House do an installation with Bondera. My first impression was it looked like Eternabond.

Sounds like interesting stuff. Wonder how well it would hold up in a wet environment. Got a sticks n bricks bath in need of remodel.

Bondera is a system designed for wet environments. In addition to the mat itself (it comes in much larger sizes than Simple Mat), there is a double sided seam sealing tape that gets applied over seams just before installing the tile to prevent water leakage. Bondera can be used on all vertical and most horizontal surfaces (it can't be used on floors or overhead surfaces nor can it be used to secure heavy fixtures such as soapdishes). The major downside is it is expensive. Check here and here for more info.

Installed a complete Banks system and HID low beam headlights. Wish I had done it a long time ago; what a difference!

RV Wizard, are the HID's white or do they have a blueish tint? Considering the same is the reason for the question.

I've seen people use the pipe foam on wipers. Just what is the thought behind that? Keeping the wiper protected from sun? Blade straight? What does it do?

Protection from sun and also the wiper does not stay at the same position and the rubber gets out of shape. Unlike a car that might get driven more in rain.

Also - with or without foam, put tennis balls between arm and windshield to hold away from glass. Keeps dirt sand etc from accumulating on wiper blades and potentially scratching glass when used.
