We had this done in our S&B about three years ago and it's held up pretty well. We did hire a designer that specialized in faux painting and was familiar with the Givani product. I have done one touchup job (spilled airwick plugin solution and it took the paint clean off in seconds!) and it was pretty simple. Gotta be careful with that airwick juice though!

Residential Refridgerator Samsung RF197

Replaced out Dometic with a Samsung Model# RF197ACRS, 17.8CF refridgerator.

Soooo much better than the Dometic!

The DW let me do it

Well I finally talked my DW into a major mod,our 5ver has a big kitchen.
I always wanted to cut the cabinet that is across the one end.
And I did it on the last camping trip.

"Big Kitchen", that's an understatement. If I didn't know it was an RV, I would have thought it was an apartment.

Bedroom Mods

We spent 2 months in Florida this year to get out of the frozen Northern states. I had a lot of time to think about what improvements needed to be made. The first was that the bedroom needed more room to walk around the foot of the bed. With a rear bath and closet, we were always going thru the bedroom and past the bed. The 4 slide model in the 2007 Revolution lineup solved this problem with the additional slide in the bedroom but it didn't have the 1 1/2 baths that we liked. The solution was a tilting/sliding bed platform that we saw in the 2014 Winnebago Tour. I believed they used a Lippert mechanism, but I couldn't find much info on the web. So, I designed my own using a couple of linear actuators and fabricated a mechanical control arm system. The extra room amounts to 14" additional floor space. I also had to reduce the size of the box underneath the platform. That required moving some of the electrical boxes and cabinet work too. The new carpet will be in this week to finish this project off. On an effort scale of 1 to 5 this is definitely a 5, but it seems like a whole new coach to us.

Can you now walk to the rear bath with the slides closed?

Regardless, we'd not be able to give up the storage under the bed for this mod, but I can see the value otherwise, and can only imagine how much work it was to achieve. Good work!

Jay,

Yes, that is now possible. Before I had to lift the foot of the bed up for my wife as it was too heavy for her to lift even with the gas struts.
