I had the same problem. Someone in the forum suggested I remove the lens and add small dabs of silicone at the end of each fixture, where the lens snaps in. I reinstalled the lens, pressing them into the wet silicone. The silicone is not visible and the lenses stay in place now. Your fix is just as good if not better.

No pic, but added led light strip from auto store to door awning. Wired the led strip to door light (powered by light switch). Now have plenty of light on steps and door lock. Next will replace door light with motion activated door light.

Dry camping at the Richmond Nascar race in a few weeks. So I added volt meter next the bed. That way I can monitor the batteries from the back of the coach. The meter is wired into a closet light on the other side of that wall.

Just ordered the volt meter. That is a great mod.

I did install the motion sensing LED porch light from RVupgrades and it works great. Almost too sensitive, it turns on as soon as you come around the corner of the MH.
It is also light sensitive so does not come on during day, you can switch between always on and motion active.

I installed mine last weekend, but haven't had a chance to try it.. Will this weekend!

I'm also going to do this mod (M4 LED's on order) soon:

I had no idea it was so simple to replace the docking lights!

You know what I love about irv2. Everyone is so ice and willing to help. No one gets cocky when complimented for help with troubleshooting or for how awesome their mods are. Thank you all for your kindness to this newbie and all the half witted quest is I ask.

There's some other older and newer threads with mods. Type it in the google search window on the tool bar, leave it set to IRV2 and you will find many I'm sure. Enjoy.

Painted Basement Door Handles

I painted the faded flat black latch handles to match the body color of the coach. It required 3 colors of paint and the clear coat to match them all. It's another one of those things that you wonder why Fleetwood didn't do it. It would have saved them time not to have masked them off.
