If that is water line or gas line it is too small...but idea good.

Look for larger line and use a reducer to fit it.

Maybe standard water pipe to get above genny then elbow or other creative thing.

Emt conduit may work as well.

That is 3/4 copper so the I.D. is the same as the I.D. coming out of the muffler.....but I would imagine the corrugation causes too much turbulence. It was a "day-before-the-trip" deal. I'll find some smooth bore pipe and like you said, go larger when I get time.

Noticed some gravels and road scum being slung onto the bottom of the propane tank and engine air cleaner assembly at the rear of the coach. I wanted a way to deflect as many of them as possible to prevent damage to the underside if I could.

Took two 12x24" rubber semi mudflaps and cut them to fit the areas behind the wheels. Aluminum strips and angle pieces work to support the flaps, and 5/16" bolts mount them just fine. On the rear flaps, since they mount on the front wall of the cabinet behind the wheels, I used black silicone around the mounting holes to keep water and dirt out.

Works fine until the A/C unit kicks on. Apparently the back-pressure is affected too much and it was a failure. I'm sure some smooth bore pipe would work but I was really disappointed. The corrugated copper is the first thing that I saw that would thread right on. Back to the drawing board.

The manuals for most generators limit the length of the exhaust pipe because of back pressure, even when the pipe is smooth wall. I would look at least double the diameter for an exhaust extension.

Hi All!

I have to admit it - I had "Silk Flower Envy" You know when the big rvs pull up next to you and they have silk flowers on a table in the window?



Well, I fixed that! I now have silk flowers too! I finally got the pictures ready for the knock-down tables that I built. They have a pipe flange on the bottom, and slip into brackets on the front of the couch. I have lots of pictures and instructions here if you're interested.



It's easier to show you a picture than try to explain how I did it. I've been using the tables for 2 years and they work GREAT - no problems, and they're sturdy enough to support a laptop. The new 'dining' table is super sturdy. Let me know what you think!

When we are out I like to pull the recliner out from the wall by the door and move it out towards the center of the coach. When sitting there and watching TV, I found there was no good place to set a drink or the remotes or my phone. So I built a fold down table from some red oak from Lowes. I finished it with some Natural finish Danish Oil which matches the rest of the woodwork very well. The shelf bracket is attached to a piano hinge which turn is attached to the wall. I used oak hole plugs as the factory used. I just flip the table up and fold out the shelf support.

Installed USB / 120 ac outlet
Had to enlarge hole a little and mounted box on the underside of the wall and glued box in place.


Had to use the spacer plate but no issue on that. Just mounted outlet on the spacer plate.

Winnebago used them for the install because the outlets are to thick for the walls.

My recent mods were more like fixes from the cheap arse, 4:45PM Friday, thrown together POS camper that we have. It absolutely infuriates me that no one takes more time or pride in their work than to send something out the door that is complete crap.

Backstory: The heater started rattling....bad....so that no one could sleep bad.

I pulled it yesterday and made a few enhancements....... every piece of sheet metal that could possible touch and rattle got a sheet metal screw. All the air gaps from the "pre-punched" holes got foil taped shut. The gas inlet pipe got a clamp on it to keep it from rattling to the cage (I think this was the main source of rattle." The wires also got lengthened such that a person can pull the heater out of the hole and then disconnect the wires (cheap a$$es can't even afford a few extra feet of wire and wire it from the outside so no one can even pull it).

This is what amazed me. They cut a hole in the outside of the trailer and didn't insulate it back.....just back side of tin from the inside of the trailer looking out....that plays well to keep it warm don't it? They didn't even clean up the drillings and chips from the install. No wonder every now and then I'd hear something get sucked into the fan. And the kicker. The air outlet of the heater and duct inlet in the floor didn't even line up and the insulation between them is half gone. The hole is a rectangle and from my best estimate, the area allowed for air to go through was about 50-60% what it should have been. This causes excessive heat in the box that can't get out by reducing CFM.....great source for a fire. I modified the bottom sheet metal on the heater to match the stupid hole in the floor. And with the insulation between the box and floor gone, air was blowing out into the hole that is under the fridge.

It just amazes me that someone on an assembly line would do such schidty work and send it on.....my wee wee wee all the way home toe has more pride that this.

Not sure if I posted these already or not but after seeing these in some other Toy Haulers I added one to our kitchen counter and my wife loves it.
