Booth Dinette Tradeout For Table/Chairs

I finally did it last weekend. The new table is great with the leaf I can seat 4 and perfect for two.

So much more room has been freed up now that the booth dinette is out.

Also, the chairs are foldable. I can keep two of them under the bed for use as needed.

Did you attach the table to the floor?

Wish we could do that! However, the main (and only large) outdoor storage compartment in our trailer is actually under the U dinette seats in the slide and accessed from outside or thru lift up covers on the seats inside.

Not sure if I have posted this mod yet. Added a second awning on the slideout. I already had intimate knowledge of how/where to route the wire after installing the washer/dryer in the slideout.

I took some pictures last weekend.

The angle worked out perfect with the lower mounting with the slide extended.

Yes, I thought about that too. I was thinking about removing it, but I need something temporary so I can move the table when I need that space for sleeping. I have a high rise full size air mattress that fits perfectly in that space when needed.

No, the table is moveable/removeable. It is heavy enough that, when tethered to the chairs, won't be moving anywhere during transport.

What a great idea! I've always just attached a tarp to this slide and used tent poles at the outer edge. Too much to set up for a day or two though. I like this

Wanting to remove U-dinette

My winter project is to remove the U-shaped dinette and would appreciate any advice from this learned group. I anticipate that I will have to take it totally apart to get it thru the door. Any tips?
