I'll try to shoot some additional pics.

Yes, 2 pieces (cutting board and frame).

The frame has 8 holes (2 per side) on the inside edge that hold the shelf pins. The cutting board sits on the flat side of the pins (like shelves in a book case) except supported on all 4 sides of cutting board.

The entire assembly fits over (in our case) the metal cover of the stovetop. We remove the entire cutting board assembly for cooking. We primarily cook outside, or use our portable induction cooktop, or use the microwave. We seldom actually use the gas burners so the additional prep space is more valuable to us.

Little synthetic rubber bumpers minimize movement and rattles.

The cabinet door in the background clears everything by about 1/2".

The stove lid is probably irrelevant .... the frame and cutting board don't touch the lid. I could remove the lid and it wouldn't make any difference.

OK will have to go over the pictures again. It sorta kinda looks like the pins go through the lid piece.

On a relook at the picture I now see that I had the pins going vertical and they actually go horizontal.

Just recieved my new Jack OTA Antenna head for the Sensar last night, got a great deal on it at $35. Gonna try and install it tonight and test, we'll see how that works out.

I really like mine. I pick up many more channels than the old one in populated areas, but out in the boonies, I don't seem to get anything....

Well ... realistically, 50 miles is about it and 12ft (roof) is pretty low.

I agree. Good point Bruce!

But I've seen others with the old batwings extended in the parks when I couldn't get any signal out in the middle of nowhere. They were getting some signal, not much, but I got nothing.

I do believe the batwing/Sensars do work better farther out, they are bigger and pick up a lot more of the far away signals than the Jack does. Butthe Jack picks up a lot more channels than the Sensar did in town for me.

This is the Jack I put in....
