or see what mods others have done to there rv its nice to see what
ideas people do to there rv's and show what you have done to yours.

mods - Google Search
diy - Google Search
The ones shown as google urls are from the iRV2 search feature, click on them and you will see a listing of different mods, DIY projects and mods specific to a particular RV manufacturer.
Also look in the owners forums for your manufacturer and there will probably be a sticky for mods and DIY

I didn't want to Google any where to find mods I was thinking
in general ALL mods on rv's does not matter what type of rv
It would be nice on this forum IRV2 a place where everybody
puts there mods in the same place
I don't care what kind of rv you have a mod is mod lets share

Don't have a motor home but here is what I've done to our '09 5th wheel Challenger:
1) replaced the underbelly with alum. siding. Had to tighten all hydraulic fittings since they leaked from day one and that involved cutting the old fabric underbelly and could not repair that stuff.
2) While I was under there, I improved all the insulation and stopped up all the holes I could.
3) Installed a trailer hitch, trailer wiring plug and a pair of back-up lights. Electrical wire for the lights was there from the factory.
4) Replaced most of the interior lights with led's.
5) Installed a solar system, mppt controller, and a 1200w inverter.
6) Rewired the back 110w circuit so it could be switched from shore power to the inverter by interior switch.
7) Built a 500w portable wind generator.
8) Added 3 more batteries for a total of 4 but have since gone back to 2 deep cycle 6v. (We no longer boondock.)
9) Had to replace the front storage door (it had an argument with the truck's tail gate) so I made one out of 3/4" marine plywood and cut it in half, installed chains on both sides of the lower half and now I have a table under the overhang.
10) Redid the wall in the basement storage because I did not like the one that was there.
Lots more but DW has rang the dinner bell, Gotta go.

I agree. I posted a couple that seemed to apply only to my Damon, then got carried away and posted a bunch. I have twenty or thirty more to go. Maybe this will help.

I fully agree with you. This forum should have a "Upgrades and Modifications" forum like another RV site that I am a member of. It would be so much better than having to look in all the individual forums to pick out info on upgrades. Are you listening Administrator??
