Motor Home Fire In Pa

Just saw this on the news

Two people were hurt when a motorhome caught fire Sunday night at a truck stop in Clinton County.

Firefighters said two workers at the Flying J Truck Stop were filling the motorhome with propane when it caught fire. Flames spread quickly and it took crews quite a while to bring the fire under control.

The two workers were taken to the hospital. There is no word on their conditions.

It is so very important to turn off all appliances, engines and there is no one smoking nearby. All that is needed when filling LP it the right % of fuel and air and one spark. I think someone forgot to turn of and appliance and when the gas valve to the coach was turned off to re-fill the appliance tried to lite and the right conditions were present. So sorry to hear this so please folks, be careful and stay safe.

What a terrible thing to happen. Hopefully, the RVers turned off the appliances when the tank was filled. I don't know about some of you folks out there, but too often for comfort, I've been gassing up the car, when some idiot is smoking nearby or in their car. When you say something to them, sometimes they get belligerent and even combative.
