Hello all, I have searched the net for Rv shows in the Northeast which include national Motorhome manufacturers, not a local company displaying the models. I have been a business owner and have attended Regional Trade shows put on by the national vendors, does this type of show exist for Motorhomes.

I believe there is only one RV trade show for manufacturers and it's not open to the public.

It was last month.

Don't know of any either, but for those in the VA or MD area, they are having the 25th Annual RV show at the Dulles Expo Center this weekend.

The manufacturers will show up at the very large RV rallies (although with fewer units), like The Rally put on by Affinity Group. There were several mfr's at last summer's gathering in Louisville (coincidentally, where the press trade show was last month) with RV's on display.

Fleetwood has their own national motorhome rally & brings multiples of all their models.

Went to the Dulles Center RV Expo this afternoon and it was packed. Hard to even move around and lines to go in many of the coaches/trailers.

Did overhear an individual talking to a guy at the Phanteon display and the tech told him he was a factory rep and not a local dealer.

Was disappointed that they did not have an accesories section as they have had in years past.

Not a bad show though.

www.cnyrvshow.com is the site for the central New York RV and Camping Show at the State Fair Grounds in Syracuse, NY, March 3rd-6th. This may or may not be what you are looking for?

When you say trade show, if you mean an RV show for the trade and not open to the general public, then I think Route 66 is right - the RVIA show in Louisville in December is the only one.

If you mean an RV show where the RVs are displayed by the manufacturers rather than by local dealers, then the Hershey RV show in September is one of those. The Tampa show (ending today - 1/16/11) is another, but it's obviously not in the northeast. Local dealers assist the manufacturers on the floor, but the manufacturers are responsible for what gets displayed.

I'm a little confused as well but if you mean a RV show where they displar RV' and related items to the public then there's one on the 21st here in Jersey at the New Jersey Convention Center: 44th Annual New Jersey RV & Camping Show | Affinity Events
