If towing is paramount, no motorhome will pull a gooseneck.

For towing anything with a bumper pull, Super C's will out-perform conventional Class A's everytime with Class 5, 6, 7, or 8 trucks doing the work - compared to the rear engine design in a DP of the same dimension. Engine buried in the back just can't compare.

The newish Super C's from Thor and others are amazing with the F550 cab/chassis underneath. They are selling like mad for Thor. There were some early slide problems due to operators not knowing how the Schwintek's work, but they are simple, efficient, and save much weight and space.

We ignored the Thor haters and are very glad we did. These are very well built RV's that use widely available systems (no expensive/hard to fix one-offs). They are easy to maintain and repair. Plus, the Super C's from Thor are equal in price to mid-grade gas Class A's...lots of capability for your dollar...lots more capacity for the price than a Diesel Pusher.

We haul our toys inside and tow on a dolly, but if towing a bigger load, a SuperC would be our choice.

Best luck

Like the previous reply we looked for two years. Found a mint condition 07 DP. Just need to be patient and ready to pull the trigger. The nice ones sell fast.

I understood he wants to tow one or the other but not both at the same time.

Case,

I suggest you look at RV.org. They rate RVs based on user comments, unit inspections, and factory tours. Good RV hunting!
