Motorhome vibrates at speeds of 50 mph+ after KONI FSD shocks installed
We installed Koni FSD shocks on our 2001 Fleetwood Discovery MH. When I am driving at 50 mph plus we get vibrations we can feel in the floor and seats of the MH.
The tires are our MH are Toyo.
In my research I have read that the vibration could be caused by a few different things with the MH.
We never had vibration issues like this before until we installed the new Koni shocks.
Could the Koni shocks be causing the vibration issues?

Not likely but could have altered the ride height enough for the universal joints in the drive line to be the cause.

You may have lost a balance weight, or internal balancing beads / material is clumping. Also, jack each front wheel off the ground and spin. Check that tire tread / casing is true. I would go to a reputable truck tire shop to have checked. Koni shocks do not reduce ride quality.

Now that you have shcoks that work, you are feeling tire shake that the shocks are now damping instead of letting them do their normal harmonics. The issue was always there you just now can feel it. Tire,wheel or driveline is what you're feeling. My money is on tires.

Shocks that are so good they let more shocks through???
Did they remove the wheels when they fitted the shocks?

Did you load it up like you use it and get a front end alignment after installing the shocks?

Those new shocks could possibly be a little taller than the ones you replaced, and just a little tweak on the driveline, due to them being taller, can make it vibrate. I'm certainly no expert, just an uneducated guess.

No, the tires were not removed when they fitted the shocks.
The shocks that were removed were the original Bilstein shocks that came on the MH in 2001 and had never been changed.

The tires on the MH are Toyo's M154 (265/75/22.5) with a date of 0912 made in Japan. The Toyo's were on the MH when we purchased it. The shocks were the original OEM Blisteins. I'm running 90 psi in the front and rears.

If it is the driveline can it be fixed?

It is loaded like we use it but have not had a front end alignment yet.
