"Fresh Cab" is a product we use in our MH. It's bags of scented oils that rodents apparently do not like. We live in the country and keep our MH parked behind shop.
We replace with new packs every three/four months.
Can purchase at most Rural King/Farm supply stores or order direct. Has worked great for us.

Good luck

A lot of folks don't know this but when setting mouse traps, be sure to set them perpendicular to the wall. Mice run along the base of walls, so they will come across it. If you set it parallel to the wall they may just go around it. And they love peanut butter.

Luckily, no damage, and no more signs of any rodent activity in my TT.

I am starting to think it got in at the shop while warranty work was done, because I have seen no activity in or around my trailer since it has been back home.

I might have lucked out.

Regardless, we have two boxes of Fresh Cab and my wife has all of the raw essential oil ingredients to keep those little packets fresh with balsam fir oil, etc.

From all of the reading I have been doing on the intarwebs...sounds like you are one of the lucky ones.

Are you doing anything in particular to prevent them?

I am storing my trailer under a hay shed, near the remaining 30 big round bales from last winter, so I am in prime mouse country.

I think, after reading all of these responses, and other sites on the internet, I will bite the bullet and put the moth balls in pantyhose on each tire, despite my intense hatred of that smell.

I justify it by thinking that I hate the smell of mouse excretions even WORSE!
