Any crash you can walk away from is a win......Stuff can be replaced. Interested to know how the story ends after the insurance company's finish.......Well you now have a great story to tell.

I have never tried attachments with this mobile app. This should be the truck.. note where trailer hit. Also note the alignment of the bed.

I was thinking the same thing, maybe Forest River will give me an award!

I am sure the reason the driver stayed off the brakes was so he would not jack knife. That said there was no reason for him to be traveling that much faster than everyone else in those conditions. And yes I do prefer the bar to a ER.

I know there are plenty of good truck drivers on the roads but their seems to be alot more bad than good lately. I have seen some things happen with truck drivers that should never have gone on! Why aren't the police cracking down on them?

I've had a few lousy days but yours tops mine. Very happy the damage is to the vehicles and not to you. Stay well.

Glad to hear you were not hurt, and I guess you were being told that this was not the time for you to replace your old trailer. Best of luck with the Insurance and getting the whole thing replaced. If I were close enough, I'd meet up with you and buy a round. But I'm about 650 miles away, sorry.

Holey moley! I am from Michigan and know where this happened. My SIL just about got in a wreck in the same storm. There was a 40+ car truck pile up south of Mt. Pleasant on the same day. Good luck. If you are headed North and need help I am near Gaylord MI up I75.
