My Review of RV Armor

I just had my RV roof coated by RV Armor. I couldn’t find any helpful reviews on RV Armor before I hired them, so I decided I would write my own review once the work was complete. While there were a couple of hiccups, I am overall pleased with the job and I am glad the owner is an honest, customer service oriented individual.

My review is quite long and includes several photos. It is now in the forum library. HERE is a shortcut to the file.

Happy Travels...

Don't know if I just missed this or not, how were the seams along the edge sealed? Will you still need to calk along the roof rails?

The job looks great, especially at the front and rear cap seams.

Hi Fred,

All the seams and edges were sealed by the coating. The radius seams (roof rails) were coated to the point where the coating overlaps over the top edge of the rain gutter. No need to caulk anything again.

Thanks Sky Boss, my pleasure. I know my review was a bit long-winded, but I wanted to be thorough.

Promo Code

If any of you folks decide to hire RV Armor, feel free to use promo code “RV 1627”. RV Armor included this promo code with my warranty paperwork, to offer to all of my friends. It will give you $100 off the price of the job. It will also earn me a referral reward, but I am in no way in this for the money. I received the unexpected promo code five days after I completed my review, it did not affect my findings.

Happy Travels!

I have looked into this system as well. My only hesitation is the lack of warrantee on slide outs.

They don't coat slide out's, main roof only.

Why wouldn't the Industry use this coating on all motor homes if it is as good as it sounds? They all would like to give a warranty like this! I know there are fantastic chemicals these days and offering it as an option would be great for all MH's coming from the factory! It sure would get rid of a lot of issues coach owners have? I'm sure the cost would be much lower if the companies started offering it!
