Any comments on the MyRVmail.com "Gold" plan where they scan your mail and allow you to read it online while on the road. Going to Alaska for 4 months with no scheduled stops. Following the fish.

Service sounds good but seems more complicated than the price indicates.

I'm not so sure if I would pay for that but Google Mail (Gmail) is a good option for free.

How does that work with snail mail?

Driver,
I don't want to seem backwards, but what does Google have to do with scanning your mail and emailing it to you?

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
@$2.50 per scanned letter, this service can really add-up. The gold plan's $180.00 seems standard for various othe services.

So, if I understand, someone else receives/opens your mail, scans it and emails the scan to you?? I guess it depends on what kind of mail you are getting, but I don't think I would want someone else to decide what was important enough to scan so I could see it.......plus they get to read/see it all?? I've never heard of this.

We have been with MyRVmail.com for seven years now. Very professional company. You can see the return address on the mail you receive and only have them scan the ones you need right away.

You can have them send your mail to you when you stop for a few days. We usually get our mail within three days of our request for shipment.

Yes they do. Our mailbox acts as our "official residence", legally.

Check them out at: MyRVmail.com | Mail Forwarding Service

They are good folks.

We use them. Our first year we had the gold plan but since switched to the regular plan. The big difference was being able to see if you had any mail online, and who it was from. Now we just call and say "can you tell us what is in our box?". They'll even open it and read it to you if you ask. We are very pleased with the service and are content with the regular plan.
