Nearly new slide awnings

Removed a slide awning and sewed a small patch on the side leading edge. That particular slide only goes out 14-15 inches. The awning was 40" wide! Turned the awning around and now the patch is on the "roller" and will never be seen again. That which is now unrolled when the slide is extended has never seen the light of day and looks new. We did switch the plastic "tubes" as the one at the motorhome was larger in diameter than the one at the "roller".
Now knowing how it goes together........ Can do the other 2 in an hour each including the patch.

Good idea, Hal. I've got one of those shallow 16" slides too and bet I can do the same thing when the time comes.
