Need a new blog or webpage

We are driving to Alaska this summer and I want to be able to keep family and friends informed about our travels with text and photos. What is the best way. I am not great with stuff like this, so need something simple for myself and for my readers. THX

I just had the same thoughts about our upcoming trip to AK. I was advised to look at Blogspot.com. I did. It was easy to set up and I have it ready to add pics and text as we leave for AK next month. There are others.

Blogger on Google is easy to set up. Once you do, you just click on "new post" each time, write what ever you like and upload pictures.

Done.

I'd go with a blog, either here on irv2 or one of the other mentioned.

Wordpress is good and has a lot of "ready to go" themes you can use and update. There's a bit of set up needed (you'll need to get your own hosting). They provide easy to follow instructions. Look forward to seeing your Alaska adventures. We'd love to do something like that once we have more free time on our hands. Good luck.

If it's something quick and easy then use Blogger or here on the forums. Wordpress is good too but a bit more involved and you need to have your own site and hosting which is an added cost. We use both for different blogs but our main one is blogger.

Good Luck!
