Need comfortable folding rocker

We've been looking for a comfortable folding rocking chair. I've searched the internet and the one below is the only thing I can find that looks comfortable! I was hoping for one with lumbar support but they don't seem to be out there!

Have any of you used this one?

We have had a pair of these since 2012. Very comfy and lightweight.

I don't know if you just intended to order one on line but I noticed that the one you posted was rated for 250 lbs. Sams club had some in our store that were rated for 300 lbs. I did sit in the one at Sams and it did seem very comfortable. I also see that the one you posted folded down to 6 inches which is pretty flat for a rocker. I am no sure how flat the one at Sams folded down to. The one at Sams was $44.99.

The ad doesn't say how much padding they have. Also, is there a metal support under the front of the seat? The other one I mentioned says there is no metal tube under the front to make it uncomfortable for short folks (like Annette). Thanks!

Joe.....I'm not a big fan of Camping World, but often they sell rockers like the one you posted. You might stop by and see if you like how it feels and then possibly by the same brand somewhere else or wait for a sale. At least you'll get to try it out.

Thanks Neal, but that one doesn't look like it would fold up very flat.

Thanks Don! I had thought about that but won't be near one for quite a while. Annette is recovering from back surgery three weeks ago and they tell her it will probably be 3 months before the nerve pain goes away!

How thick is the padding and is it the same on the back and seat?

I had one i really liked, but aluminum rivets, aluminum frame and large body didn't go together on slightly uneven ground.

When my wife decided she wanted a rocker last year we read about all the concerns and issues discussed in previous posts. Then I stumbled across the most amazing non-traditional rocker you can imagine. Although it doesn't look at all like a rocker but when you're sitting in it you wouldn't know it wasn't a rocker like any other. And it doesn't care whether you're using it on concrete, grass or whatever.

You can read about it here: http://www.amazon.com/GCI-Outdoor-Fr.../dp/B00L0K4HFS
