Need Help finding Overnight Parking Near Palo Alto CA
My wife is receiving treatment in Stanford and Redwood city and hotels are getting stupid expensive. I Have a small 18ft trailer I plan to haul and sleep in when we go to her appointments. Can anyone guide me on locations where I can park overnight to avoid paying hotel room. Thanks in advance for your help.

You might try Trailer Villa in Redwood City.

Ask the medical facility if you can park it there or at another near-by hospital. Many are very accommodating for this and they probably have security. Stay out of, and away from East Palo Alto. Safety before convenience...

Theres also this not too far away
Treasure Island RV Park
30 miles up the peninsula and Looks pretty dismal from google earth but its an rv park and probably secure. Website says they welcome overnight stays. Ive looked for RV parks in the SF area too to stay at while at UCSF for medical stuff. Not much there.

I agree, Stanford is so big they may have a lot where you can stay. Otherwise, Trailer Villa, Harbor Village, and a few more are right off the highway in Redwood City only a couple of miles from Stanford. Or...you could park right on El Camino Real right in front of Stanford with all the homeless people already living in their rv's on the street. Just kidding but you'll see them.

I am a Palo Alto resident. The City of Palo Alto is very permissive about RVs overnighting. You can probably overnight in almost any residential area as long as there aren't signs restricting it. There are many areas that only allow 2 hour parking from 8am to 5pm, but parking overnight is OK. Lot's of people park on El Camino Real which is a state highway through Palo Alto. Of course, there will be a lot traffic noise. I'd call the police dept., city hall, or the Chamber of Commerce for details. Stanford may also be accommodating.

Google is your friend...
Searching stanford hospital rv parking

Can I park my RV at the hospital? RV parking is available in the Quarry lot adjacent to the Hoover Garage at 217 Quarry Rd. Passes are sold for a maximum of five business days at $5 per day and can be purchased at the security office.
