Need info on my RV

Hello I just bought a 1992 Fourwinds 28 foot class c and I don't have any other info about it. I'm not even sure who makes it. Does anyone have any info that might help me get specs on this RV.
Thank you

You may find a sticker on a cabinet door, or similar location, that will have the manufacturer and a list of equipment included. Sorry I can't be of more help. Have you tried googling Fourwinds?

Started with the production of truck campers, Indiana-based Four Winds International evolved into a popular recreational vehicle brand. Producing travel and fifth wheels trailers, Four Winds also featured a Class A and Class C motor homes. With trailer sizes as long as 40 feet in length, the Four Winds line of motorhomes range up to 43.5 feet. Four Winds motorhome production was incorporated into Thor Motor Coach after the 2011 model year where the brand name continues to be sold as a Class C model.

M-28Q (Ford 460) Mini Motor Home (Class C) Queenbed

Other then that not much info available.

"mprumsey"......I know it would be nice to have a box full of brochures, but they wouldn't really tell you much. It's pretty simple. Your coach is built on a Ford chassis. I'm guessing it still has the 460 engine.

All of your appliances are made by manufactures that are still around. You can do as search on most of your stuff, like a Wedgewood stove or Dometic or Norcold refer and still find the manuals. Download them if you think you need them. Same with the generator. That would probably be a manual a would download and have available because they did have some settings for altitude.

Wiring is wiring and most older RV's are all wired the same way. Your biggest issue will be identifying switches that a previous owner added and trying to figure out what they do.

Often one of the things that goes bad on the older coaches is the battery jumper, that jumps the house batteries and the coach batteries together when one set is low. Again, a pretty standard wiring format.
