Need Outside Fridge for Drinks & Food
WE have a 2018 Pace Arrow 35E wit no outside fridge or kitchen.
I dislike my kids and myself having to go into the RV every time we need a drink.
Any suggestions on fridges that work well or are small? Possibly a flat fridge (if they make those) on a storage slide? Also any suggestions or advice on a good storage slide? Thanks
Andrew

You didn't mention how large the bay space/door opening is you have to work with. In my prior Winnebago Journey, adding a fridge in the bay was problematic due to the height of the bay door openings. They were just inches shy of fitting in a lot of commercially available small fridges.

Dometic makes several cooler size electric fridge/freezers made for storage areas and run on 12 or 110 volts. Downside is they are pricey from $600 to $1400.

I spent about 100$ on a Igloo 1.6cf dome style fridge. It sits in a outside bay.

Our friends just keep a small, good quality ice chest in their bay. No need for power or worries when stored. Easy to access and reasonably priced.

Hi Andrew! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
I don't know of any small fridges that will fit into a storage compartment. I would be very concerned about leaving one outside at night because of theft! I think I would get a good ice chest.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

When our Splendide washer/dryer broke down, instead of repairing it, we replaced it with a small fridge, just for drinks. That doesn't help with going in and out for drinks, but gave us a great place FOR drinks. When we need more outdoor drinks, we use a cooler, but spend a lot of money on ice when it is hot outside. Since our main fridge is in for repairs, it may be problematic , but I am thinking of carrying our small ice maker next month. We learned a few years back to keep the ice maker in a cool place. In Texas with 100+ temps the whole time, we got maybe 6 ice "cubes" from the unit in a full day, with the ice maker under the awning. This may not be helpful, but it has been our experience.

Cheep coolers will keep ice for a few days. Expensive coolers will keep ice for a week or longer. Even large mini fridges dont hold very much.

Loved my Dometic CF refer/freezer. I already had a 120 outlet, so I added a 12VDC socket. Plugged it in loaded with frozen food and go. Oirs was big enough to store nearly a months worth of food.

We have camped since 1976. Always have used 2 coolers stored outside. Ice is only $2.00 or less a bag at the campground store. At night we use a cable lock
https://www.amazon.com/WitMoving-5-D...-2-spons&psc=1
string it through the cooler handles and don't worry about it. We've never had a theft or vandalism problem. Most everyone around us does the same thing.

Need outside fridge for drinks & F
We carry a Coleman 40 quart portable powered cooler. About $100 on Amazon.
Runs on 12 volt or 110 with the included power pack.
We have it inside plugged in while traveling and outside under a table while camping.
No issues with it being bothered or theft etc.
Has worked quite well the last 2 seasons for us. Only issue has been a blown fuse in the power connection - easy replacement.
Only other thing we have noticed is it seems to ice up once in a while. Starts making a strange noise and I just unplug for an hour and plug back in.
Once cool it keeps things cold for quite a while.
