See also this thread: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f52/recom...-rv-65822.html
The compressor recommended by the OP on that thread weighs only 25 lbs and is compact enough to easily fit in a compartment or bay.
Sears has it on sale with free shipping. I ordered on a Monday and it was delivered by UPS the following day. It works great!

I have a Coleman 120 V tank unit that does pretty well getting my old front tires up to 120 psi. The new tires only take 105 so it does even better with them. Got it at Lowe's some years ago.

Have you considered using the onboard compressor? All I carry is the hose and air chuck, no need for the added weight of the compressor or the space required to carry it.

Senco PC 1010 is the quietest air compressor I have ever barley heard. Check Ebay, it's a little high but it's commercial grade, quite, ans very compact. You will not be disappointed.

I agree with sdennislee, those with diesels should have all the air you need and if you carry enough hose you can even air the toad without disconnecting it. I wind my hose up on a little orange wheel I pick up at Lowe's for a couple of dollars. It keeps the hose neat and easy to store. Hope this gives those with diesels something to think about.

I've since found the same compressor above that's 120v. Pretty good reviews on Amazon.
