need to buy an A & E roller tube Do you know where to get one ?

Hey there while i was in NH the had a terrible rain my dads camper had there awning open it the awning roller tube got bent so im trying to locate one for him or any good remedies ,its an A & E 8500 we just need the tube canvas is still intact maybe even a RV bone yard might be good tour ideas or solution's r helpful thanks oh its in a travel trailer

If you're looking for new, they're available through the normal A&E distribution channels. Any dealer can get you one. I would get several bids. Price may vary greatly depending on how busy they are? As far as used, I suppose that might depend on your luck and willingness to make a lot of phone calls. If it's not bent too bad, I've seen them straightened to the point they're serviceable, if not perfect. That takes a little creativity, something not often seen at dealerships. They generally will give you the blank stare if you bring it up there... Best of luck! -Al

PPL Motorhomes Parts (online) is a good source for awning parts. Their prices are as good as any and the staff will help make sure you get the right part for your model of awing. Have your awning model number handy when you call.
