Trojan's are considdred the best but are EXPENSIVE
There are a few other brands that might be better but MORE Expensive

I only have two 6V batteries in our motor home, I am on my second set of 6V batteries from Costco. Originals that came in motorhome were Interstate, they lasted 5 years, first set from Costco lasted 8 years. I am at one year on second set from Costco. The second set from Costco are manufactured by Interstate.

If you have a golf cart store near you, give them a call. You will definitely get a better deal.

Be careful with Costco, I don't want to start a fight with anyone. But the Interstate 6 volt golf cart battery's are not the same grade of battery that is sold at a interstate battery. Interstate sells a much better grade battery then they let Costco sell.

If you dry camp a lot T-105
If you hardly ever dry camp get the $80 ones. And cut down to 2 6V.

Crown or Trojan T105's. Crown has a little more amp hours and were also a little cheaper than the Trojan's for me.

about 3 years ago, PPL service department in Houston installed 4 6 volt Duracell batteries for the house side and 2 12 volt Duracell batteries for the engine. ZERO problems with them. 3 of the 4 Trojans that were removed had splits in their outer casings, which explained why I was adding about 1 gallon of water each month. I'm NOT saying these splits in the Trojans was a manufacturing flaw, I just don't know.

Buy the cheapest ones you can find that have the identical Amp-Hour (AH) specs, which is usually either 210 AH or 225 AH. There are a zillion brand labels out there, but 95% of them come from the same four major US factories. Trojan & Lifeline (aka Concord) are specialty manufacturers with a high quality reputation, but all the rest come from US Battery, East Penn, Exide, or Johnson Controls. Essentially all the same batteries with different brand names on the case.

I'm a fan of Trojan products myself, but I can't see paying 50% or 100% more for a Trojan flooded cell 6v with the same AH capacity as a brand x from one of the big guys. Flooded lead acid battery tech is a well known commodity and even Trojan can't do much other than what lead-acid chemistry allows. How much better can it be?

If you happen to be in the Seattle area and need 6 volt or 12-volt batteries go to Dyno Batteries at the north end of Magnolia, near fisherman's terminal. The manufacturer and ship worldwide. Their batteries are heavier than most simply because they have more LEAD! Years ago, I needed 12 8D's and 2 4D's for the boat. It was July 3rd and everyone was closed for the holiday. The shipwright doing the work on my vessel said, "oh, they'll be open". Sure enough, the Dad, Mom and adult son were there along with 2 or 3 of their shop people. That was the good news, the bad news was lugging those 8D's down the dock, on to the boat and then down to the engine room. At 170+ pounds a piece, it got my attention. The 4D's were in the 150-pound range, seemed like a cake walk hauling them.

Unless they changed, costco sells the cheaper interstate 6 volt GCB, Thinner plates. If you want interstate flooded batteries, then you should at least check with interstate.
