Why use RV furniture? When we upgraded with two recliners we went to LazBoy.

I put RV furniture in and regret that I did. Everything looks great and have lasted well but comfort is just not there. I'd go with something that has comfort.

I second the regular home furniture. While RV furniture may be (or otherwise) rugged, it's not necessarily comfortable. So far, we have replaced the DR chairs with some that have a bit of a comfortable angle to the back, along with a couple wall hugger LA-Z-Boy recliners. We have a new but folding DR table to go in this year and today we will be ordering an England (a LA-Z-Boy company) sofa bed to replace that original-but-impossible-to-sleep-on air mattress sofa bed. Just do your homework first with S&B furniture as far as dimensions and weight. Not funny if you have to pull a window or a crane service to lift it in.

I'm trying to remember their name, it was a company in Calif. that did both the dining area, and a new sofa. Very fast on the build and pricing was good. I just lack comfort.[very firm] It was done a number of years ago. At the time I also put in a Euro recliner which did add some comfort. The inside looks like a showroom but not comfy.

One of the things convenient with LazBoy is that the backs come off the recliners making it a breeze to get in the coach.

Our 5er being a 4 slide unit with limited free floor space, I pull the backs off our two La-Z-BOYS for travel and lay them on the sofa, then strap the seats down in the back. And yes, they are very easy to get in the fairly narrow entry door, something I hope our new sofa will do as well. Just, as I said above, measure first as there are a bunch of different design and sizes of those chairs from fairly small to huge

We've replaced a couch with two LA-Z-BOY recliners in our '02 Dutch Star and the Stressless chair in the Magna with another LA-Z BOY recliner. Haven't been sorry yet!
