New "Good Deal" for Chevron/Texaco Credit Card holders

I received my Chevron credit card several months ago and have been using it at Chevron stations to buy gas. They offer 10 cents a gallon off the purchase price for using the card. Not a super deal, but it helps. Yesterday, they sent me a letter stating that they were revising the terms of the agreement Beginning July, you have to spend a minimum of $300 on non-fuel purchases in order to qualify for the 10 cent/gallon discount. They also charge a very high interest rate and do not allow you to set up "auto pay" from your checking account. I now do not like this credit card.

I have not liked this card since they lowered my credit limit from $2500 to $100 and I couldn't find out why. (Meanwhile, other cards were raising my limits.) As for "auto pay" I never let anyone help themselves to my bank account. I do however, have 'Bill Pay' set up with my bank, so they pay the bills on schedule. I have all set to a minimum payment, in case of oversight on my part - but typically, when the bills arrive, I adjust the amount to pay it in full.
