Don't know about motorhomes but have a suggestion, start looking at owner's groups for the major brands, Tiffin, Newmar, American Eagle, etc. People tend to post problems they are having. Also, start reading all the rv forums you can, www.escapees.com
, fulltimer's blogs like Nick Russell, (Gypsy Journal RV Travel Newspaper – Fulltime RV Travel In Our Winnebago Motorhome
) He writes a daily blog about their lifestyle, useful info even if you don't intend to fulltime. Have you rv'd before? Rent a few before buying, you will get an idea of floorplan that's suitable to you. If you are not an experienced rv'r, buy a gently used unit. It's hard to know what floorplan you really like until you spend time in it. We rented 2 class c's and a class a before we ended up buying a 5th wheel. Welcome and Good luck!
