I just saw previews for the movie "RV" with Robin Williams. Looks pretty funny. Anyone else see it?

I saw the previews while watching Extreme Makeover. Should be funny. Wonder how many things we'll see that will remind us of some "not so funny moments at the time"

We also saw the preview and can't wait to see it. Williams is a hoot when he doesn't use that four letter word every other sentence.

I don't remember the release date.

Climbing aboard their mammoth RV for a cross-country road trip to the Colorado Rockies, the McNeive family -- led by dysfunctional patriarch Bob (Robin Williams) -- prepares for the adventure of a lifetime. But spending two weeks together in one seriously small space has a way of cramping their style. Jeff Daniels and Tony Award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth co-star in director Barry Sonnenfeld's raucous vacation comedy.
Starring: Robin Williams, Cheryl Hines
Director: Barry Sonnenfeld

Not rated. This movie has not been rated by the MPAA.

I think I heard that this would be released for viewing in the movie houses April 28th. Looks like a real "Hoot" for us RV'ers.

Finally, a movie to carry in the RV in addition to The Long, Long Trailer.

Is this the same production that member "TVProducer" was soliciting here for folks to be in his show last year? Click here for the thread.

Or is it a real movie with nothing to do with TV?

I saw the previews and it looks to be pretty good. Being a family adventure, sort of like Mrs. Doubtfire, I'm thinking that he'll keep it clean and let his natural talent run wild. Too bad we had to wait 40+ years between good RV movies.

I am sure it wll have its moments. But I have yet to see anything good come out of remakewood these days. Besides, how can you top the bungled directions of turn right left here that sent Lucy and Desi down the narrow dirt road. The Long Long Trailer gave new meaning to Give me 40 acres and I turn this rig around.
