I bought 5 of the Zero G 50' hoses, https://www.apexhose.com/lightweight-hose-zero-g/, for use in my RV and around the house. They are so much lighter than regular hoses and are kink free, lead free, drinking water safe, etc. Lowes has great sales on these usually around holidays for more than $10 off. I am so glad I changed all my hoses to these.

I went by Lowes today and someone had put the sale signs out on the hose prematurely without waiting for the sale to start! I grabbed one. When the cashier rang it up it showed the regular price of $36.98. I showed a manager the sign and they let me have it for $29.99!

This one is not like the "Pocket Hose" which is like an accordion.
The pocket hose is also rate for only 60psi. I use a cheap RV pressure regulator on it.

Great for washing the roof of the RV.

This one says 600 psi (did the salesman say that??). It does not shrink in length. Looks like a very flexible inside tube that collapses flat, and has a exterior cover to provide the burst strength.

Does look like a worthwhile product.

We bought one and love it. It is not one of those cheap Walmart shrinking hoses. It fits easily into the spin mop bucket we use to wash the MH with.

I once had one of those style hoses and like others on here it soon sprang pin holes in way to many places and found it's way to the garbage quickly. I really don't have a storage space issue with the good old fashion white hose for water.

I had one of those old flat hoses too! This is nothing like that!

The box and the Lowe's ad says it comes with a 5-year warranty. Think I'll go check it out this weekend.

We bought one of the cheap ones for around the house. Lasted one season and then started leaking.

Joe, thanks for posting this. It seems like a quality hose, and as a full-timer, light weight is always something I'm looking for.

The Amazon price is down to $29.98. It gets pretty good reviews overall, but there is a fairly large percentage of 1-star reviews due to early failures. Since amazon has a 30-day return policy, any failure beyond that would necessitate having to deal with the manufacturer to take advantage of the 5-year warranty. For that reason it would seem like waiting for a sale and buying from Lowe's like you did would be the way to go. That way, if you have a problem, you could return it to Lowe's and let them worry about getting credit from the manufacturer.

The Amazon link above reveals a drinking water safe hose, excellent fitting on both ends according to the purchaser-reviews, and does NOT appear to be the low-quality leaky hoses that others have experienced.

Having said that, it does appear they are a bit wieldy when rolling them up and trying to avoid kinks.

Not all hoses are the same folks.

I bought one of these from Lowes and have used it for several months. No issues so far but it is not a constant pressure hose. It is more convenient than a rubber hose and less convenient than a collapsible hose.

Apex Hose

FYI

If you check the Teknor Apex site... The RV and marine hose is a different part # than the one Lowes and some others sell... The RV and Marine hose is part # 4006-25 for 25 footer 4006-50 for a fifty footer.... The one that many sell is 4001- or 4002-.... It says drinking water safe but the packaging is not RV & Marine.... ...

The RV/Marine version is 1/2", the residential/commercial is 5/8"
