New Sounds

After our trip from California to Tennessee our only complaint was all the noise from the Triton V10, the kids, and the lack of a decent stereo. It was sometimes a struggle to conversate with the DW. So this weekend I pulled the doghouse cover off and added some "B-quiet" sound barrier, installed two new AlphaSonic coaxials in the dash and a 8 inch. Powered Bazooka sub. I was very pleased with the install and desiderate to revel in the new sound. I guess I was rocking out a little to hard and I got in trouble from the DW as she texted me from inside the SB and told me she could hear it inside the house. At least I know the new sounds will over power all the other sounds.

OK, so you will be quiet on your way to the park but really noisy after you arrive there?

No, no, no. I'm a respectful camper and wouldn't do that to my camping neighbors. But I'll sure rock out on the drive over.

Is the sound barrier an improvement? Been thinking about doing something like that to the doghouse on our rig.

I did mine about year ago and yes it makes a big difference and also wrapped the intake and got rid of the hat on the floor by adding the same soundproofing. On the shell make sure you aluminum tape to seal the edges so no water will soak it.
