New Tire Protectant

Lucas has come out with..."Lucas Slick Mist"...water based and about half the price of Aerospace 303. Saw it at Wally World.

Sounds good for tire SHINE, but very little comment on Amazon on UV protection, which is my primary goal... Advantage of 303 is that I can use it on awnings, etc, not just tires. Will stick with my ProtectAll for the body and 303 for the tires, etc. ST

Not much mention of UV protection which is what I'm looking for. I not gonna let a couple of dollars dissuade me from using something I've trusted for years. I'm gonna stay with Aerospace 303 and Rejex for the front cap.

Some tire manufactuers don't recommend applying protectant.

Michelin used to recommend 303, then they brought out there own and only recommended it. That product is off the market now and they recommend nothing but soap and water.
BTW the Michelin tire product looked suspiciously like 303 with a different label on it.

X2 Not looking for tires that shine, just UV protection.

So, tell me about the 303 and the Rejex.
We're taking delivery of a new TT in a couple week's, and anything I can do to keep er looking great is good.
I bought a used one for our first and was playing catch up all the time trying to get it to shine and look good.

303 won't particularly make the tires "shine" it will protect the tires from sun damage.
On the rig itself I've used Dry Wash N Guard for many years. Even on the windows since water won't stick to surfaces with DWG on them.

The biggest disadvantage to 303 is that they say it should be reapplied every three to five weeks.
