New tires. Cant check air Town Fair Tire
Ok Just spent about 1400 on tires. Went to check the air preasure on the dualies, can only get the inside no the out side. Took the rv back to Town fair tire where I bought them and them they said that. It must have come like that. Well the freakin thing was a rental before I got it . I think there was a way they could check the air with out taking the tire off. Even if it wasn't set up right the first time . They are a freakin tire place. they know more about tires then I do and you have to be able to check the preasure and put air in.
So anyway I need some extentions I have a 2006 29v jambooree. 2005 E450.. What do you use on your dualies..

Go to a truck shop, NAPA etc and get a dual foot air chuck. What they tell you is correct, it's because your wheels are all the same (unless you have alum wheels). If you have steel wheels they can be used at any position. When used on the front they are in the same orientation as the rear inners, turn them around and they become rear outers. By orientating the stems the way they do it they can be used at any position. Since 99% of the inner rears are steel even if you have alum wheels they are polished differently. One is polished inside (rear) and the other outside (front).

I have a dual foot air chuck. Can't get at the dualy out side.. I know it just means adding extentions but I would think that Town fiar tire being in the tire business would have the right extentions...

Here is an example how the valve stems should be oriented. That picture shows using stem extenders. Places that do not ordinarily work with dual wheel configurations have no clue why.

Even w/o extension I can read both tires with a dual chuck..
I'm thinking they didnt index the stems correctly and there is a rim in the way, correct?

i put a 3" straight extension on the inner wheel and a 135-degree extension on the outer wheel. no problems. and no extensions needed up front. then i just screwed on the TPMS sensors. if i really need to check the tires before the TPMS gets around to reading all the tires i can pop the wheel covers and sensors off and use a digital gauge.

I can personally attest to that happening as they did that on our recently purchased DSDP. A "bonafide" tire shop reinstalled the outside rear dualls to where they covered the inside tire stems. Had them remove and reposition the outside rims. After they were done, I inspected and they did it correct BUT the inside stems were too short and angled to much to get a tire guage on them. AND they put regular cap covers back on the stems. You can't fix stupid.

After getting new tires I couldn't check or fill one outside tire on the rear duals even with a dual head gauge/chuck. Found out the chrome cover hadn't been centered very well and after repositioning I was good to go.
Sometimes stuff happens.

Please overlook the dirty wheels. We live on a dirt road and have not wash after last trip. This is what I did. Picked them up on amazon also have the caps that are preset to 85psi rear ans 95psi front.
