New (to us) and some questions....

Hi All,

We're picking up our first RV and come Christmas it'll be our new home (2004 Winnebago Adventure 35U) tomorrow morning in Savannah.
Pictures etc to follow once we get setup

I want to replace the tires as they have tire root and look like they might be original ones. As I couldn't find the date code and they are Michelin's.

Can anyone suggest a tires place in Savannah GA ?

Also, any suggestions on a storage place for a week ? we live in Atlanta and are heading back to Savannah in a week for a comedy gig.

Thanks Ya'll

I can't help with you tire purchase , but will say that, for some reason the tire date codes are only on one side of the tire, so crawling around under the coach or using a scope to examine between the duals can be the only way to find them. But if the tires don't look good, then no point getting dirty.

If you belong to FMCA, they have a program called Michelin Advantage that offers good discounts on RV tires.

Although may be possible to substitute a different size tire that has almost the same rolling diameter, Michelin is the only company that makes 235/80R22.5 tires, which is probably the size the Adventurer originally came with.

While I can't recommend a specific dealer, the Michelin website lists 3 authorized dealers in the Savannah area. There may also be numerous independent dealers, but you would have to use an authorized dealer if you want to buy under the Michelin Advantage program. Even if you don't want to use the program, you could still contact the dealers on the Michelin website for price and availability
