New window shades

Just a note to those RV'ers who are considering changing out their widow shades in their coach. We did, and really appreciate the change.
Our FW Discovery had the old style string pull shades. They were dated and let in a great deal of light when pulled in a camping site with lights.
The new shades came from Lowes. The brand is Levelor with full blackout shades. The store personnel cut the shades to the measurement of our windows and I installed then with the hardware supplied. Cost: we had a professional estimate of $2,000. These cost $450. They come with a lifetime warranty. Works great. Complete dark. Easy to operate.

Which Levelor did you decide on? We've looked before, there are several choices.

Do the blinds attach at the bottom or swing free?

Sure would be great if you could post some pics and a little more info as to which actual shade you purchased. Ours are getting a bit testy and the restringing is a PITA. Help us out if you can.

Wow. I really am pleased to see all the replys. I am new to this posting and should have provided more information.
The shades are LEVOLOR, ACCORIDA SHADES, STANDARD BOTTOM UP, ROOM DARKENING, CORDLESS.
Levolor has a website with a short clip on the appreance and operation of the shades.
Hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

They are the " cellular shades ". I put one up on my entry door and it works great. They are delicate and you need to handle them with care. I am thinking about installing them all around.

do they do as good of a job of blocking light as the typical day/night shades? Looks like the might let more light in around the edges. Definitely like the look

My day/ night shades don' t provide total light blocking. My cellular shade does. You have to over lap the window just like the daynight shades.
