newbie

Although i am a newbie im a retired mechanic with experience in the drive train of RV and big trucks. That being said i need help with a new head liner.The one in it now is leather and is sagging,had small leak,roof is new dicor.Does the head liner come out?Is it put in before the interior walls,ie.do i have to rebuild the interior to get it out?Any help would be greatly appreciated,thanks to all.

I too am a nuts and bolts guy. Headliners are not my forte but welcome aboard.

Usually the headliner is put up after the rest of the interior is finished, so it ought to be removable from the inside. I'm not familiar with your coach model, but typically there are battens or similar cross pieces inside that hide seams as well as help hold it up.

Thank you that is exactly what is there im so glad thanks. By the way here in crystal river,near me,there is a shop that does PERFECT interior work and is fair and inexpensive.neals upholstery,if in the area and need work they are the best.
