Newbie Future Owner

Hi,
Future RV owner here. We are really liking the 2016 Bounder 33C with an LX package but we are wondering about price negotiation with the dealer on a new model. How deep can you go and what is reasonable? We don't want the 2015 models as the plan and layouts changed for this model year and we like them significantly more.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to iRV2.

If something is in short supply, don't expect huge discounts.
If you can put together a deal for cash , and handle your own financing you may be able to swing 15%, discount , but if your willing to wait and see if there is what you want on a dealers lot , in 6 months , you could get 25%.
JMHO: First run on a new model, most dealers will wait for a near full price deal.

Welcome to the forum.......You can offer whatever you want....remember you can come up but never down. I would start with 25% of the asking price as a start. I was looking at some of the prices out there and there are differences in the price from $119k to $143. We didn't pay anywhere near the asking price for our rig. DW doesn't pay retail....ever. So when the negotiation are about to begin I smile and introduce my wife.

Welcome as other said, my opinion to answer your question is start at 30% or even higher then work your way down to a minimum of 25%. Don't get in a hurry make a offer and walk away if you have to. If they want to sell it they will call with a counter offer.
