Having had 2 DSDP''s and now a 2009 Magna I can say I'd go with the MADP. Our Magna has been a disaster, but only from the standpoint of the ISX 650 and damage done to the rig by Cummins NW in Portland OR. We didn't realize that they have a habit of dropping (breaking) a valve in #6 cyl. The Magna is a very sold rig and I'very been catching up on deferred maintenance.

Don, as of 07, the MADP has the Allison 4000. It was upgraded from the 06, which had MM Chassis, ISL, and 3000. It also has the 1st generation Comfort Drive. That's why there is a significant price difference between the 06's and 07's. The ISM can also be flashed and bumped to 500HP, like the Essex. Several on here have done so. I don't see the need but that's JMHO.

I wish we were in a position to take the MA away from you! We have a Newmar Kountry Star (05) with a lot of miles. The KSDP is the bottom of the Newmar line, but is still better than just about anything else we have seen at the shows.

Mountain Aire is not the very top of the line, but it's still a super coach. You will love the Comfort Drive feature, and the solid quality of the Newmar coach will give you years of comfort,

I'm not knocking any other coach brands, but we really don't give consideration to any except Newmar. Guess that makes us really biased, right? OK by us.

I thought the Ventana and Ventana LE were below the KSDP, or do they replace the KSDP?
